Security Officer (Outdoor Foot Patrol)
(TEMPORARY POSITION)
Schedule:
- Position 1: Monday-Thursday 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM
- Position 2: Friday Saturday and Sunday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Position 3: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Position Type:Full-time / Part-Time(TEMPORARY POSITION)
Location:Westwood MA
Pay Rate:$22.50hourly

Signal of New Englandis seeking a reliable and observant Security Officer to join our team. This role primarily involves outdoor exterior foot patrol duties including monitoring parking lot activity deterring unauthorized building entry during off-hours and overseeing contractor access to the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine foot patrols around the exterior of the property
- Maintain visibility in the parking lot to deter suspicious or unwanted activity
- Ensure no unauthorized individuals enter the building during off-hours
- Monitor and log the entry/exit of contractors during active work periods
- Provide accurate timely incident reports and updates as needed
- Maintain communication with supervisors and other personnel as required
- Minimum 1 year of security experience especially in access control or screening roles
- Valid drivers license and reliable personal vehicle (required)
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to remain on foot for extended periods and conduct frequent patrols
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to intake information quickly and report incidents clearly and concisely
