Job Description
Private Equity Associate Attorney $260k$390k Philadelphia PA (Hybrid)
A leading global law firm is seeking a Private Equity Associate with 3 years of experience to join its highly regarded Private Equity practice. This group works with asset managers investors and portfolio companies on sophisticated market-defining deals.
What Youll Do
Advise clients on private equity and asset management M&A transactions with a particular focus on GP stakes deals.
Manage components of transactions independently while collaborating with teams on complex matters.
Handle a broad range of corporate and transactional work including:
Leveraged recapitalizations
Growth equity and venture capital investments and exits
Equity compensation structures
General corporate governance and compliance issues
Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor.
What Youll Bring
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Pennsylvania state bar.
3 years of private equity asset management M&A or related transactional experience.
Strong experience in asset management M&A (GP stakes transactions highly preferred).
Broad corporate and transactional background (M&A growth equity venture capital leveraged recapitalizations).
Proactive business-minded approach with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
