Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Testing and Inspection
- Performing functional tests on actuation systems to identify malfunctions or deviations from performance standards.
- Inspecting components for wear and tear damage or contamination.
- Utilizing specialized testing equipment to measure parameters like force pressure displacement and response time.
- Troubleshooting and Repair:
- Diagnosing the root cause of issues within actuation systems using technical diagrams and schematics.
- Disassembling and cleaning components as needed.
- Replacing faulty parts like actuators sensors seals or electrical components.
- Performing adjustments and calibrations to ensure accurate operation.
- Documenting repair details test results and component replacements accurately.
- Performing final quality checks on repaired actuation systems to verify functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintenance and Preventative Care:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks like lubrication and cleaning of actuation systems to prevent future issues.
- Identifying potential wear and tear areas and recommending preventative maintenance procedures.
- Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of actuation system principles including mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and engineering specifications.
- Proficiency with specialized testing equipment and tools used for actuation system diagnostics and repair.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhering to all safety procedures related to handling actuation systems and hazardous materials.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
High School Diploma GED College degree in Electronics and/or Mechanical background
Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must
