Job Summary

Job Title: Hematology Oncology Physician

The Genesis Cancer Care Institute accredited by the NAPBC and NQMBC is excited to announce an opening for a Hematology/Oncology physician to join our team in Davenport Iowa. This community-based hospital program operates clinics in Davenport and Clinton Iowa as well as Silvis Illinois. Join a dedicated team of 4 Oncologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners and enjoy leading technology along with collaborative services such as radiation oncology genetic testing clinical trials and infusion resources.

Job Responsibilities:

Cover clinics in Davenport and Clinton Iowa.
Provide inpatient consultations primarily at the Genesis Medical Center-Davenport.
Be part of a shared call arrangement.
Work within a physician-led medical group that emphasizes leadership wellness and work-life balance.
Leverage hospitalist support for inpatient care.
Enjoy the autonomy to build the practice you desire while being part of a cohesive team environment.

Qualifications:

Board Eligible (within 3 years of Residency) in Hematology.
Board Eligible (within 3 years of Residency) in Medical Oncology.
IA and IL licenses (or willingness to obtain).
DEA Verbal Confirmation (or ability to obtain prior to start).
CSR/CDA (or ability to obtain prior to start).
Maintaining a clean malpractice history is preferred.
Must not require visa support.

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certified in Hematology.
Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS).
DEA Certification.
