This Position reports to:
SCM Service Delivery Manager
In this role you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications price delivery schedule and terms. Each day you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

Procurement team in EUOPC (European Operation Center) . Main stakeholders are
part of Energy Industries Norway within ABBs Process Automation business area. You will be mainly accountable for:- Defining procurement needs based on the project scope timelines and budget
- Identifying evaluating and selecting suppliers that meet project requirements in terms of quality cost and delivery timelines
- Negotiating terms and conditions pricing and delivery schedules. Ensuring contracts are aligned with project objectives and managing any changes or disputes
- Monitoring procurement costs to ensure alignment with the project budget. Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Identifying procurement-related risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project
- coordinating with project managers engineers finance and suppliers. Providing regular updates on procurement status risks and issues
Qualifications for the role:- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or related field; proficient in Business English (B2/C1); Norwegian is a strong asset
- Proven background in purchasing vendor management and procurement compliance; skilled in supplier performance evaluatio
- Strong in analyzing supplier data market trends and cost structures; effective negotiator
- Aligns procurement with project timelines; collaborates well with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
