Job Description

Job Title:Student Employment: School of Nursing Graduate AssistantDepartment:School of NursingStudent Employment Type:Graduate Assistant - (Hourly)Responsibilities:

The graduate assistant should be available as needed for projects within the School of Nursing including but not limited to:

  • Office work internet-based research
  • Creating and updating SON documents
  • Creating data bases
  • Assisting administrators faculty and staff with departmental functions
  • Maintaining data files both electronic and paper
  • Assisting with SON events both internal and University
  • Answering phones
  • Greeting visitors
Qualifications:
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work with others in a collaborative environment
Hours of Position:
  • Hours are flexible
  • Up to 10 hours per week
