Job Summary
Staff Accountant
Are you a detail-oriented and experienced accountant looking for a new challenge Were looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our client.
What Youll Do
In this role you will be a key player in accounting operations working closely with the Accounting Supervisor. Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial reports analyze operational data and create variance analyses.
Account Management: Manage fixed assets track cash flow and maintain customer profiles.
Payroll & Credit: Handle payroll preparation and administer credit policies.
General Ledger: Post journal entries reconcile general and sub-ledger accounts and assist with month-end close.
Compliance: Maintain accounting controls by adhering to company policies and federal regulations like Sarbanes-Oxley.
Collaboration: Work with other departments to analyze actual results against plans.
Youll also have the opportunity to work on special projects and other duties as assigned.
What Youll Bring
A bachelors degree in accounting.
At least two years of experience in public accounting.
A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or other accounting software.
A keen eye for detail and a dedication to accuracy in all your work.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
