Job Description
Industry: Mining Industry.
Location: Phalaborwa Limpopo South Africa.
Salary: Market related.
Qualifications:
- B Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and Management development program.
- Project management certificate or Diploma.
- Valid Drivers License.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 (five) years related experience in a metallurgical/mining production environment mineral processing and bulk materials handling as Project Engineer.
- Experience in engineering design installation and commissioning of plant structures concrete structures and plant process modifications.
- Excellent Project Management skills and application of Project Management Methodologies (PMI etc.)
Responsibilities:
Evaluate plan and co-ordinate the implementation of new projects according to sound project management principles company standards and procedures:
- Analyse client needs for the implementation of new or improved technology to evaluate project viability according to the companys procedures and standards.
- Develop project plans according to sound project management principles client needs suppliers and resource availabilities to ensure efficient project management.
Manage Projects as allocated as per Foskor Project management Frameworks:
- Initiate and investigate task; Plan Project activities (Financial Scope Project Schedule Resource Requirements and motivations.
- Procurement planning and execution Stakeholder management Project Communication Project administration.
- Project Safety Project quality; Monitor and control Project management activities; Close Projects; Safety Management of Project.
