Job Description
Locum Physician - Hematology Oncology
Join a reputable healthcare facility in Grand Rapids Michigan known for its commitment to improving access to patient care. The facility offers a state-of-the-art cancer center attached to the hospital encompassing an inpatient consult service outpatient clinic and infusion center. This opportunity is for a Locum Hematologist Oncologist to provide specialized care for a diverse patient population primarily focusing on hematology with some oncology cases.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a Tumor Board
- Order tests and images
- Prescribe treatments as necessary
- Provide care in an outpatient clinic hospital rounding and inpatient settings
- Manage both malignant and benign hematology cases with a focus on hematology
- Handle shared call duties as part of a pool
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active Michigan License - Strongly preferred candidates willing to obtain a license considered
- BLS certification - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in Hematology Oncology
- Active Michigan Medical License (preferred)
- BLS certification
