Role:
Manage and provide leadership to IT teams and daily operations within the IT department by ensuring that hardware and software used is compatible secure and scalable. Stay current on industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor the health of the network to ensure stability and plan for change
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
E 30% Manages staff responsible for planning implementing maintaining troubleshooting an otherwise supporting the WAN/LAN networks PC hardware and software products wide area communications storage area networks database systems network systems security and access controls.
E 20% Manage outsourced technology service providers to ensure service level agreement metrics are met and project related tasks are completed.
E 15% Develops and communicates standards for use operations and security of network personal computers and data; develops and implements policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition use support security and backup; establishes and maintains network users user environment directories and security; collects analyzes and reports network infrastructure performance information.
E 10% Oversee the design specifications configuration installations and maintenance of local area network hardware software and telecommunications services such as personal computers system software software applications printers servers routers switches cabling and circuit providers.
E 5% Responds to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs; communicates with other departments to report and resolve software hardware and operations problems; consults with department managers to develop system solutions consistent with organizational objectives.
E 5% Researches and evaluates new technologies; installs and tests software upgrades.
E 5% Negotiates contracts with and coordinates activities of hardware software telecommunications support and training vendors.
E 5% Oversees the maintenance of hardware and software at the companys disaster recovery site and provides technical support for disaster recovery testing.
N 5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.

7. To identify opportunities to improve services to the company and/or its customers through use of new products and technologies.
8. To provide training development support and leadership for all direct reports. To complete performance reviews within the prescribed time frame.
9. To complete required training and undertake additional training as needed to increase job knowledge and maximize productivity.
10. To acquire and maintain a working knowledge of regulations and bank procedures; to comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and other laws and regulations.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience 5 years related job experience managing IT team and operations.
5 years experience managing multi-platform environments.
Education (1) A Bachelors degree in computer science or information technology or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelors degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution building relationships and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Physical Requirements Must to able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity coordination and stamina. Constantly positions self to maintain computers in the branches/offices and lab including under the workstations.
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and may require travel to branches and other locations.
