Job Summary

Neurologist Opportunity in Ashtabula OH

Join a leading multispecialty group practice in Ashtabula OH! Located at the heart of Lake Avenue this facility is an affiliate of the renowned Cleveland Clinic offering a dynamic opportunity for a Permanent Neurologist. You will be part of a collaborative team comprising over 60 employed providers including 21 primary care physicians.

Job Responsibilities:

See 15-20 patients per day (non-negotiable).
Full-time negotiable schedule.
On-call rotation of 10 days per month.
Work primarily with an adult patient population.
Outpatient care: 95% Inpatient care: 5%.
Perform procedures such as EMG lumbar punctures muscle biopsies EEGs and brain death exams.
Collaborate with a dedicated support team including 10 Advanced Practice Providers (APP).
Utilize EPIC electronic medical records (EMR).
H-1B and J-1 visa candidates are welcomed.

Qualifications:

Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology.
Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
DEA certification prior to start.
Experience with lumbar punctures muscle biopsies EEGs brain death exams EMGs and Botox injections.
Ability to live within a 40-mile radius or willingness to relocate.

License and Certification Requirements:

Current Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology.
Valid Ohio State Medical License.
BLS and ACLS certifications by start date.
DEA certification must be obtained before starting.
