This Position reports to:

Excitation Proposal Manager


In this role you will demonstrate your knowledge by reviewing and commenting on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions ensuring alignment with relevant group/division/business directives instructions and company procedures.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Develop contract strategies in line with ABBs policies customer requirements and project execution plans - factoring in risk pricing scope and schedule.
  • Review and comment on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions ensuring compliance with internal directives procedures and legal standards.
  • Support procurement and sales teams by analyzing contractual terms identifying risks preparing risk mitigation plans and offering contract-related guidance.
  • Prepare and manage cost models insurance and bond pricing risk assessments and Risk Reviews - ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Plan and coordinate complex project setups (e.g. Wayfair Buy America Regional orders) and align with the supply chain team on special customer requirements involving third parties.
  • Maintain well-organized up-to-date records of contracts and supporting documentation and assist in optimizing the contract review process in collaboration with the legal counsel team.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance addressing issues based on lessons learned and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • A keen interest in reading and commenting on contracts as well as conducting high-level negotiations.
  • A minimum of 5 years of overall experience including at least 3 years in Contract Management Vendor Management Customer Management and internal stakeholder engagement.
  • In-depth knowledge of project planning/program analysis combined with demonstrated business acumen integrity a results-oriented approach and effective problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to delivering effective presentations and communications along with proficient leadership interpersonal and cross-cultural engagement skills.
  • A degree in Business Administration or Law with a specialization relevant to system contracts is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required; Spanish language knowledge is considered as advantage
