Join a Prestigious Pediatric Hospitalist Practice in Pocatello ID

We are excited to present a career opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director at a well-established practice located in southeast Idaho. This position allows you to work in a supportive and collaborative environment at a top-notch medical center providing quality care to pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and medical oversight for the Pediatric Unit.
Caring for pediatric patients in the hospital and emergency department.
Consult on surgical pediatric cases.
Work a 7 on 7 off schedule with the flexibility of being on-call from home.
Collaborate with a sister program located just 30 minutes away for consultation and support.
Opportunities for faculty appointments with the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Focus on practice and professional development.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Pediatrics.
Board Certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role.
ID license or eligibility for IMLC compact (or willing to obtain).
DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

Board Certified in Pediatrics - REQUIRED
Board Certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine - REQUIRED
ID license or IMLC compact-eligible - REQUIRED
Minimum of 1 year experience in leadership role - REQUIRED
DEA - REQUIRED
CSR/CDS - REQUIRED
