The Controls Engineering Technician leads the design testing installation and maintenance of machinery and automation for use in manufacturing. Applications are sophisticated requiring cross-disciplinary integration and wide application of concepts.Seeking a candidate available to work an off-shift schedule including weekends.
Job Description
Work with electrical drawings ladder logic HMI programs and PLC control systems for machinery and automation.
Basic understanding of robot operation and programming.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of safety in a manufacturing environment and how it applies to machinery.
Experience with fluid power systems.
Working experience with vision systems.
Work effectively on a team and in individual situations.
Experience with CNC machine troubleshooting.
Assist plant maintenance troubleshooting equipment.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology Automation Technology Mechatronics or related field from an accredited college/university or Trade School
1 years experience in controls technician position.
