Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is a medium-sized rural health service that delivers a range of programs and services including acute subacute residential aged care and allied and primary health care services. KDHS has three campuses located in the townships of Kyabram Stanhope and Tongala.

the Role

The Quality Education and Risk Manager (QERM) is a strategic leadership role that works collaboratively with the organisations Executive team Managers and Staff to promote a culture that facilitates the delivery of best care through the organisational wide development monitoring and evaluation of the Quality Risk Consumer Experience and Education Frameworks and policies.

With a focus on quality systems consumer experience and organisational risk this role will work with and support managers and health professionals to ensure effective quality governance systems are in place. To ensure integrated organisational risk management the role will work closely with the Executive team to ensure there is a broad-based risk management system that integrates organisational clinical and corporate & community risk. This position is central in supporting and maintaining consumer engagement and their experience at all levels of KDHS.
