This Position reports to:
R&D Team ManagerInternship - R&D Control Software Engineer
At Corporate Technology Center in Kraków we create innovative solutions implemented in ABB products and systems. It is a unique opportunity for you to join interdisciplinary scientific teams and international projects where expertise curiosity and innovation are valued.
As a R&D Engineer Intern you will collaborate with of our multinational team on providing cutting edge solutions for System Drives software products.
Tasks:
- Implement new features in C codebase
- Development of automated tests in C for embedded devices
- Develop and maintain documentation
- Contribute to team meetings
Requirements
- Student of 3rd year or higher in the field of automatics computer science electrical engineering mechatronics or similar
- Good knowledge C
- Knowledge of GIT
- Basic knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink
- Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Interests in Power Electronics
- Good written and spoken English
- Minimum availability 20h/week
Nice to have:
- SEP 1kV
- Experience in continuous integration (CI)
