How Youll Make an Impact
Due to exciting internal progression were on the lookout for a passionate leader who loves great coffee thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to bring out the best in their team.
This is a full-time position offering consistent weekday hours (Monday to Friday) with occasional flexibility required to support the needs of the business during peak periods.
As a Caf Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all aspects of daily caf operations including staff management stock control and customer service.
- Opening and closing the caf as required following company process.
- Managing cash handling procedures including secure counting and reconciliation during opening and closing shifts.
- Leading managing and motivating the caf team to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Recruiting onboarding and training new team members ensuring they are well-versed in store processes and procedures.
- Ensuring a clean safe and welcoming caf environment that reflects our brand values.
- Overseeing administrative tasks including rostering to ensure efficient store operations.
- Regularly reporting on caf performance operational issues and providing feedback to the Area Manager.
- Communicating effectively with team members to ensure alignment with store goals and expectations.
- Maintaining equipment cleanliness in accordance with internal procedures and HACCP standards.
- Adhering to workplace health and safety guidelines promoting best practices across the team.
What Youll Need to Succeed
The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a friendly and approachable personality. You will demonstrate the following qualities:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role within a fast paced caf or fast food restaurant environment with barista skills.
- Completion of a Food Safety Supervisor course accredited in South Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor food safety plans (HACCP).
- Experienced in rostering.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience in managing stock levels ordering supplies and conducting regular stocktakes.
- Exceptional communication and organisational abilities.
- Strong focus on delivering high-quality service in a sensitive and diverse environment like a hospital.
- Ability to generate and interpret sales labour and inventory reports.
- Flexibility to work across weekdays weekends and peak trading periods.
