Job Description
Locum Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
Location: Winchester Virginia
Join a reputable urgent care clinic in Winchester that specializes in providing occupational health services. This practice values quality care and focuses on episodic treatment for patients spanning all age demographicsfrom adolescents and children to adults and geriatrics. The position offers a supportive environment where youll work autonomously while having access to a supervising physician via phone when needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide episodic care and injury treatment to patients in an urgent care setting.
- Document patient interactions using the Anthem EMR system.
- Work autonomously while consulting with a supervising physician as necessary.
- Ensure all patient care activities align with established clinical protocols.
- Assist in occupational health services as required.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified (ANCC AANP) - Required
- Active Virginia license - Required
- BLS certification - Required
- Provider must be local - Required
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 36 hours per week (3x12s) including rotating weekends - Required
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification (ANCC AANP)
- Active Virginia State License
- BLS Certification
