Job Description

Salary/Position Classification

  • $15 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists with planning and facilitating assigned cross-cultural events
  • Assist with facilitation of student trainings workshops and presentation requests
  • Assist professional staff with assigned administrative tasks and projects

Minimum Requirements

  • Demonstrate a commitment to promoting diversity equity and inclusion
  • Demonstrate an understanding and application of intersectionality
  • Recognize and actively address own biases and privileges
  • Know DEI definitions - the language of DEI
  • Exhibit a service-oriented attitude by focusing on helping students succeed at UND
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with creating social media content flyers and video content
  • Demonstrate organizational skills problem solving and multitasking
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills i.e. word processing spreadsheets presentations etc.
  • Responsible and dependable
  • Must maintain a 2.75 grade point average (GPA)
  • Positive attitude and creates a welcoming environment
  • Reports to work as scheduled and on time
  • Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and respectful manner while appreciating the talents of people across multiple identities including: race creed color religion national origin age sex gender identity disability veteran or military status
  • Ability to communicate and work well with a diverse staff and student population
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
