Job Description
Job Title: CDL Class A Driver
Company: MEMCO Staffing
Location: Austin Tx
Pay Rate: Up to $24 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays as needed
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team at a leading sheet metal fabrication company. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class A vehicle to transport sheet metal materials to and from job sites and vendors.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers or work sites.
Load and unload materials ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
Follow company policies and adhere to safety regulations.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A license.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Physical DOT Card
Clean background check.
Previous experience driving commercial vehicles in the construction or sheet metal industry preferred.
Ability to work Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays as needed.
Strong attention to detail and safety.
Must pass a Drug test
Must have experience driving goose neck trailers Flat bed trailers and heavy duty trucks
Must be able to lift 80 lbs for loading/unloading
Must be able to provide last 3 employers and their contact information
Benefits:
Competitive pay up to $30 per hour.
