Job Description
Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking compassionate skilled reliable and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for the Boston area to assist with our geriatric aged Veterans who are in need of support and companionship.
Available shifts: 7-Days
Mornings: 3-4-hour shifts ex. 8am-11am 8am-12pm or 9am-1pm
Days: example 9am-4pm
Job Description:
- Assist with the Activities of Living personal care
- Assist with light housekeeping
- Encourage walking exercising
- Providing stimulating conversation
- Activities
- Possible transportation to doctors appointments shopping etc.
- Encourage fluid intake possible meal prep in accordance with orders/CarePlan
- Competently documenting shift activities frequently during the shift digitally using a smartphone
- Home Health Aide would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
Requirements are as follows:
- Licensed CNA Certification
- 2Years experience working with your Certification
- Must be kind compassionate reliable and skilled
- A reliable car and insured
- Clean driving record ability to pass a CORI check
- CNA must be energetic and able to work a 12-hour shift
- Current TB test QuantiFERON Gold Test or X-ray
- Proficient in dementia care
- Speak read write the English language clearly and effective communication skills.
- You must own a cell phone.
