Are you a retired or semi-retired automotive technician with 10 years of hands-on experience Do you want to give back to the trade by helping train and mentor the next generation of techs
Were looking forone or two seasoned automotive professionalsto work part-timejust a few days a weekto assist in training and supporting young technicians entering the field.
- 10 years of experience in the automotive repair industry
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Patience communication skills and a passion for teaching
- Interest in part-time or flexible hours (perfect for retired or semi-retired individuals)
- Working alongside entry-level techs in a shop environment
- Offering hands-on guidance tips and mentorship
- Helping instill best practices and work ethic
- Sharing real-world experience and trade knowledge
- Understand and follow federal state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
- Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One-three years of related experience and training (10 years preferred)
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Able to pass pre-employment background checks MVR and drug screen
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
