Job Description
As the Global Lead of Product Compliance Strategy and Operations you will play a mission-critical role in shaping and scaling our global compliance approach. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Compliance you will drive the long-term vision multi-year strategic planning and operational excellence of our compliance function across multiple regions. Youll be responsible for translating regulatory complexity into business-enabling solutions owning a key set of countries and serving as a trusted advisor to both leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. This is a high-impact senior role ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity operates with a global mindset and wants to build world-class compliance infrastructure in a fast-moving environment.
Your mission should you choose to accept it:
- Lead the development and execution of a multi-year strategic roadmap for product compliance across global markets ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory evolution.
- Act as the key owner for a defined portfolio of countries within one or more regions driving consistent compliance operations and tailored regional strategies.
- Translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into actionable scalable operational plans that enable compliant product launches and sustained market presence.
- Serve as a critical liaison between legal product engineering and operations teams to proactively manage cross-border regulatory challenges and ensure timely solutions.
- Define and drive the long-term vision for the compliance strategy function globally while also overseeing day-to-day operational execution across your region(s).
- Partner closely with the Head of Product Compliance to shape departmental priorities and act as a strategic advisor on emerging issues and opportunities.
- Provide mentorship and hands-on guidance to junior team members helping to build expertise confidence and leadership within the team.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement tooling upgrades and operational efficiency to support a fast-scaling global compliance function.
Youll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:
- Bachelors or masters degree in law Public Policy or a related field; additional experience in regulatory affairs compliance or operations are a plus.
- 8 years of professional experience in regulatory strategy product compliance legal operations or related roles with at least 3 years in a leadership or cross-functional program ownership position.
- Proven track record of navigating complex regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions ideally within the tech fintech or digital services industries.
- Demonstrated ability to translate legal and policy requirements into scalable operational processes especially in fast-paced global organizations.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a strong sense of accountability initiative and sound judgment under ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience influencing and aligning cross-functional teams at multiple levels of seniority.
- Comfortable with regulatory tools risk tracking systems and project management platforms; familiarity with tools like Jira Confluence or similar is advantageous.
- Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to team development and continuous improvement.
