You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailJoin a leader in advanced manufacturing supporting mission-critical aerospace defense and space programs.We are seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Building Engineer to ensure the safe reliable and efficient operation of our high-tech manufacturing facility.
In this hands-on leadership role you will manage facility systems oversee a small team of technicians and coordinate with external vendors to maintain infrastructure uptime that supports complex aerospace and defense manufacturing operations. Youll also manage our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) ensure compliance with OSHA ISO14001 AS9100D and drive continuous improvement in facility operations.
- Lead and manage a small team of facilities technicians and external contractors.
- Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs for air conditioning process chillers cranes compressed air and argon distribution systems.
- Perform diagnostics troubleshooting and hands-on repairs to maintain 24/7 operational readiness.
- Coordinate installation of new production equipment ensuring proper setup and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage EH&S programs and ensure compliance with OSHA State Local ISO14001 and AS9100D.
- Utilize CMMS for maintenance tracking reporting and analysis.
- Conduct regular inspections analyze performance data and present findings to leadership.
- 10 yearsof facilities maintenance and management experience in an industrial or manufacturing - environment.
- Proven expertise with HVAC systems process chillers compressed air cranes and gas distribution systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in complex mechanical electrical and infrastructure systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
- Skilled with diagnostic tools multimeters and mechanical repair equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and MS PowerPoint for reporting.
- Security Clearance Required - must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
