Position Overview
The Department of Physician Assistant Studies invites applications for a full-time faculty member to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This clinical-track position encompasses teaching service and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will contribute to the departments mission of preparing competent compassionate and knowledgeable physician assistants while complying with ARC-PA accreditation standards.

Minimum Qualifications PA Candidates:
Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
Current NCCPA certification and NYS licensure (or eligible) in the State of New York.
At least three years of clinical experience as a practicing PA.
Demonstrated commitment to education scholarship and service.
Physician Candidates:
MD or DO from an accredited program
Licensure in the State of New York (or eligible)
Active ABMS or AOA specialty board certification
At least three years of full-time clinical experience
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience in a PA program or other health professions education.
Familiarity with ARC-PA accreditation processes and standards.
Experience in curriculum design student remediation and program evaluation
Serving as a clinical preceptor may be considered in place of previous teaching experience.
