Position Summary:

As a Logistics Manager you will be responsible for managing and coordinating activities for the warehouse and shipping departments. You will coach guide and mentor a group of front line leaders and associates to create culture of safety quality and service. You will collaborate in an effort to drive continuous improvement across inventory management labor productivity and customer service activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain a culture of safety through regular presence on the floor engaging with team members across functions to identify improvement opportunities and ensure completion of all relevant training and observations

  • Ensure all team members follow standard work procedures that allow for accurate inventory counts across all raw materials and finished goods inventory locations

  • Hire train develop and grow team of front line leaders and hourly associates to exceed customer expectations and consistently deliver financial results

  • Participate in site leadership team meetings and activities ensuring seamless communication across functions alignment on site priorities and ensure a voice of one approach to challenges and opportunities

  • Collaborate with customer success order execution and transportation teams to consistently deliver on time shipments while minimizing truck wait times

  • This position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality

  • Other responsibilities as necessary.

Supervisory: This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Related Field Preferred

  • 5 years experience in Distribution / Warehouse setting or supply chain management role

  • Food/beverage and/or CPG experience preferred

  • Experience with ERP WMS and WES preferred

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle reach with hands and arms see talk and hear. The employee is required to stand walk stoop or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met or that an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
