Assembler II switch air electrical solder
Overview
The Soldering and Electricals installs components/ parts assembles wires and/or repairs products basic components and subassemblies including micro-switch and electronic assemblies. Aligns and joins parts into housing modifies fabricates and builds equipment and subassemblies using power tools hand tools and various soldering equipment.
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $22.00
Duties and Responsibilities
Level I
- Performs soldering per PS131 on Micro-switches and electrical connectors
- Performs Potting and curing applications using Stycast and Dymax
- Assembles Micro-switch and synchronize mechanical assemblies
- Ability to train in solder operations as required
Level II
- Inspects solder per J-STD-001
- Trains solder operations
Education and Experience
- High School diploma required
- 1-3 years assembly experience
- Working knowledge of J-STD-001 work requirement
- Basic understanding of electrical components
- Experience soldering surface mount and through-hole components
- Basic understanding of SDS and other Material Data Sheets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Pass regular soldering certification tests and annual eye exams
