Position Overview
Were looking for an Advisor Data Analytics e a key member of our measurement team. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical professional who can translate complex data into clear actionable insights. This role is responsible for collecting processing and interpreting large datasets to inform and optimize our communications and marketing strategies. Youll play a vital role in ensuring that our efforts are data-driven and effectively contribute to our business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Management: Collect clean and manage data from various sources including web analytics social media platforms CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
Performance Analysis: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to measure the performance of communications and marketing campaigns identifying key trends successes and areas for improvement.
Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights to stakeholders.
Strategic Insights: Partner with our team to provide data-driven recommendations that inform future content strategy channel selection and audience targeting.
Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses to answer specific business questions and support strategic decision-making.
Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy consistency and reliability of all data used for analysis and reporting.
Data Governance: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust data governance framework that promotes data quality accessibility and ethical use.
Key Skills
Data Integration Expertise: Proficiency in data integration tools and techniques such as ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes and data warehousing.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in a variety of data analysis visualization and querying tools.
Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills and experience working with large and complex datasets including digital media metrics and performance data.
Data Quality: Deep understanding of data quality principles and best practices for data cleaning validation and enrichment.
Data Visualization: Ability to create informative and visually appealing reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau Power BI or similar.
Analytical Thinking: The ability to break down complex problems and translate data into understandable insights.
Problem-Solving: A proactive and curious mindset with the drive to investigate data discrepancies and find solutions.
Collaboration: The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide strategic support.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Data Science Communications Statistics Marketing or a related field.
5 years of experience in data analytics preferably within a communications marketing or public affairs function.
Familiarity in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL Excel Python or R.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau Power BI or Looker.
Familiarity with communications analytics platforms (e.g. Sprinklr Meltwater Google Analytics SharePoint analytics).
Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques.
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear compelling insights for non-technical audiences.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a keen eye for detail and storytelling through data.
Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
