Job Description:
This person will contribute to the companys success by performing (ESS) Environmental Stress Screening (thermal/vibration) test and debug operations on a variety of RF (Radio Frequency) Terminal LRU (Line Replaceable Units). This role will report directly to the Manufacturing Test Supervisor and is responsible for successfully testing and debugging L3Harris RF Communications products for delivery or repair.
Essential Functions:
Perform RF Terminal LRU level ESS testing utilizing both manual and automated processes in a production test environment
Perform electrical troubleshooting and fault isolation in a production test environment
Assist Test Engineering on trends root causes and corrective actions
Operates related test equipment (Automated test stations utilizing (GUI) Graphical Interface Unit controls RF signal generators RF spectrum analyzers RF power measurement power supplies digital multimeters Digital Oscilloscope etc.)
Participate in process improvement activities in both RF Communications test automation and manufacturing processes
Adherence to L3Harris policies and procedures including but not limited to calibration of equipment ESD (electrostatic discharge) FOD (foreign object debris/damage) and general housekeeping.
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Fully proficient knowledge of Envoronmental test poresses
Understanding of basic RF and digitals signal processing
Comprehensive understanding of RF Communications theory
Comfortable using PC based applications
Fully proficient using test equipment (RF signal generators spectrum analyzers power meters voltage meters and oscilloscopes)
Department of Defense Security Clearance.
Previous electronics manufacturing test and debug education and experience
