The iconic Hotel del Coronadois looking for a Restaurant General Manager to join the Verdana leadership team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion the resort is more stunning than ever.

The menu of exceptionally prepared American favorites is inspired by The Dels Southern California roots elevating clean fresh flavors and regional produce while classic cocktails and a California-forward wine list provide the finishing touch.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms (to include cottages and villas) 65000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants 2 bars food truck marketplace ice cream shop and in-room dining.
In this role you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the new Veranda reporting to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage directly overseeing 1 Food and Beverage Manager. 1 Food & Beverage Supervisor and 55 Front of House Team Members.
The ideal candidate must be an exceptional leader with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences a talent for training and developing others and experienced in all aspects of restaurant operations (ex. financial performance social media reputation local market capture and employee relations). At least 3 years of restaurant management experience in an upscale dining environment is required. Strong beverage knowledge and managing a unionized work environment is preferred.
Classification:Full-Time
Shift:Various must be available weekdays weekends and holidays.
Pay Rate:The annual salary range for this role is $80000 - $95000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
