Job Summary
The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean sanitary and safe environment in all areas of the hospital in accordance with regulatory guidelines and hospital standards.
Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms public areas offices and clinical spaces.
Handle waste disposal and proper sanitation procedures.
Replenish supplies and ensure equipment is maintained in good working condition.
Respond to urgent cleaning requests promptly and professionally.
Follow infection control policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Prior housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred healthcare setting ideal.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques safety protocols and sanitation standards.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
