Project Engineer - Gas Utilities

*This position is a Hybrid position must be located in Dallas TX*

Introduction:

As a Project Engineer youll take on a dynamic role where youll contribute to a wide range of engineering design taskssometimes independently and other times with the support of experienced mentors. Youll have the opportunity to expand your technical expertise by tackling new design challenges and collaborating closely with senior engineers on unfamiliar assignments. Responsibilities:

This role involves applying advanced technical knowledge to design projects ensuring they meet all specifications. The candidate will lead small to medium or multi-discipline projects guide Design Engineers and prepare detailed technical analyses. Responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders to clarify design requirements reporting project challenges to the PM and supporting business development. The role also includes assigning tasks to Designers and Drafters reviewing vendor drawings and performing engineering reviews. Candidates should contribute to process improvements follow quality control procedures and complete assignments with minimal errors. Participation in peer and QC reviews is expected along with other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
• Four years of experience in natural gas engineering or related DOT/utilities work ideally within an engineering consulting environment.
• Must have valid drivers license without restrictions for project site visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
