Job Description
Overview
As an Outpatient Occupational Therapist youll work with patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical and developmental disorders.

This position is eligible for the Northern New Mexico differential of $4.00 per hour. (This differential may be adjusted or discontinued based on business requirements.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree Masters preferred
- BLS required at the time of hire
- NM licensure
Responsibilities
Evaluates and treats patients using a wide range of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of function occupation and developmental disorders
Demonstrates understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan of patients served
Oversees comprehensive rehabilitation programs addressing physical cognitive psychosocial and environmental needs
Promotes patient and caregiver self-determination by leveraging external resources to maximize independence
Coordinates and communicates with interdisciplinary teams involved in patient care
Aligns treatment efforts with discharge goals established during initial evaluation and throughout care
Advocates for patients needs and rights throughout the care process
Performs other duties as assigned
Provides care across various settings including inpatient outpatient long-term care community-based and home health environments
