Job Summary
Job Location: Rockledge
3rd shift
You will work on
- Work from schedules production orders prints and specifications. Verify alloy and length of billet and set heater controls to proper specifications.
- Operation of the press with require multifunction operation of multiple control panels in sequence to ensure proper operation.
- Make adjustments to press and peripheral equipment to set-up product layout guides and tooling and set and adjust parameters to ensure the material meets customers specs.
- Perform or assist with any departmental operations as required or directed to maintain workflow or respond to emergency conditions. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition. Ensure safe operating conditions within area of responsibility.
- Assist in the process examination and quality documentation and determine causes for problems root cause analysis and recommend solutions follow up to help establish product & customer issues.
- Assist in Press Equipment validations safety and quality audits.
- Able to work in a non-air-conditioned shop environment. Hot in the Summer cold in the Winter

Your qualifications and skills
- Certified Production Technician
- Strong understanding of mechanical components
- LEAN manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of HSE regulations
- Knowledge of basic material sciences metallurgy aluminum.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide numbers including decimals and fractions and the ability to use a calculator.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as micrometers calipers and heat probes where interpretation is required.
- Basic proficiency in computers.
