Job Description
Student Worker IOCP Mentor
Number of Openings: 7
Purpose/Objective of the Role:
Support the functions of the IOCP office & promote Go Global programming.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Staff the front desk in Slocum Hall 311.
- Make presentations to various groups (classes admissions alumni etc.).
- Mentor students one on one about how to access and navigate programs in the OWU Connection.
- Assist students in applying for grants study abroad and scholarships.
Qualifications:
- Public speaking
- Face-to-face communication skills
- Prior experience in IOCP programs
- Light administration (scheduling making posters spreadsheets etc).
