Job Description

Student Worker IOCP Mentor

Number of Openings: 7

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

Support the functions of the IOCP office & promote Go Global programming.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Staff the front desk in Slocum Hall 311.
  • Make presentations to various groups (classes admissions alumni etc.).
  • Mentor students one on one about how to access and navigate programs in the OWU Connection.
  • Assist students in applying for grants study abroad and scholarships.


Qualifications:

  • Public speaking
  • Face-to-face communication skills
  • Prior experience in IOCP programs
  • Light administration (scheduling making posters spreadsheets etc).
