The Rail Execution Specialist will evaluate routine to difficult and varied distribution and transportation operations data and facilities to identify the most effective distribution and transportation patterns for this role you will conduct data management reporting and analysis shipping client interaction business partnership and people and project management.
Independently collect and organize fleet-related information from internal and external clients and customers and conduct computer data entry to track and document movement.
Organize an effective system that meets the organizations inventory control needs through efficient rail transportation of raw materials.
Monitor activities from receiving locating sourcing purchasing and optimizing inventory levels.
Help plan and direct our fleet activities for both unit train and manifest rail car movements that includes escalations with rail carriers on service-related issues.
Evaluate and foster ongoing relationships with rail providers.
Use comprehensive knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry to make recommendations to establish good customer relations.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Minimize costs and inefficiencies where identified.
Other duties as assigned.
Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
This position is based in Wayzata MN but open to these locations: Wichita Lafayette West Fargo Sioux City Iowa Falls Sidney Kansas City Cedar Rapids.
Minimum Reqiored
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
The expected salary for this position is $60K - $75K
