Mach Industries is looking for a highly motivated experienced Business Development Manager to lead and grow Mach product sales across the U.S. Government and Americas allies. Successful candidates must be prepared to ramp sales in new sectors in a startup-like fashion while adapting to dynamic business situations. Ideal candidates should have a background in Government Sales with a preexisting network of executive-level contacts. This position reports to Machs Senior Vice President of Revenue.
Deep dive into U.S. Government and American allied markets to identify trends insights and opportunities for Mach Industries to pursue.
Develop manage and execute on a sales pipeline and forecast in both the short- and long-term.
Deliver actionable insights through data analysis and synthesize results in succinct presentations to aid senior leadership in decision-making.
Identify target and gain access to key stakeholders and decision makers within the U.S. Government and American allied markets.
Execute account strategies to close business opportunities and scale the use of Machs capabilities.
Develop a strategy and execute on various sales channels including major Government contracts.
Effectively communicate and present Machs capabilities and value proposition tailored to the U.S. Government agencies and American allied markets.
Support development of complex proposals including pricing strategy and win themes.
Actively collaborate with Engineering Operations Legal Finance and other internal business units to drive sales results and efficiency.
Reconcile divergent demands of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Working with current customers to help solve their problems and ensure success.
Bachelors degree
5 years of experience with business development product management technology management consulting or the US government.
Fluency in data-driven decision making data analysis and forecasting
A strategic thinker who can quickly break down a customers problems and present a compelling value proposition
Exceptional at creating presentations
Highly adaptive
US security clearance eligible
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline
Masters degree in a technical discipline or an MBA
Experience in the military
Experience in US government contractingspecifically with UAVs or missiles
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills preferably in a team environment
Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to assess market trends that indicate business opportunities in the short- and long-term
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
Strong background in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Active Top Secret or Top-Secret SCI clearance or ability to obtain one.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and training critical skills and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Machs total compensation package.
