Job Summary

RN Med-Surg Ortho (Permanent Role)

Location: Tallahassee FL 32301
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)

What You Will Do in This Role:

Collect comprehensive patient data to assess health status and needs
Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and patient issues
Develop individualized care plans based on expected outcomes
Advocate for patient safety and well-being as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Provide education to patients and families on medications treatments and procedures
Ensure efficient and effective use of time supplies and equipment
Support patients and families throughout hospitalization and recovery
Maintain accurate documentation and communication within the healthcare team

Requirements:

Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Florida or eligible to obtain prior to start
Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience required
- Acute care experience strongly preferred
- LTAC experience may be considered
Certifications:
- BLS Required
- ACLS Preferred (Required within 6 months of hire)
Education:
- BSN Preferred
