Job Description

RN Med-Surg Ortho (Permanent Role)

Location: Tallahassee FL 32301
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)

What You Will Do in This Role:
  • Collect comprehensive patient data to assess health status and needs
  • Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and patient issues
  • Develop individualized care plans based on expected outcomes
  • Advocate for patient safety and well-being as part of an interdisciplinary care team
  • Provide education to patients and families on medications treatments and procedures
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of time supplies and equipment
  • Support patients and families throughout hospitalization and recovery
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication within the healthcare team
Requirements:
  • Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Florida or eligible to obtain prior to start
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience required
    • Acute care experience strongly preferred
    • LTAC experience may be considered
  • Certifications:
    • BLS Required
    • ACLS Preferred (Required within 6 months of hire)
  • Education:
    • BSN Preferred
