Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care (Permanent Role) Location: Lakeway TX 78738
Shift: Full Time 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
Essential Functions: - Conduct comprehensive or problem-focused physical exams and obtain medical histories to assess patients physical and mental conditions.
- Order collect and interpret lab and diagnostic tests to evaluate patient conditions and healthcare needs.
- Prescribe or recommend medications and therapies according to policy safety efficacy and cost considerations.
- Develop and implement patient-centered outcomes-based treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions medication regimens side effects nutrition and health promotion.
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Refer patients to specialists or escalate care as appropriate when beyond scope of practice.
- Perform procedures and provide specialty consultation services as appropriate for training and certification.
- May require additional hours based on department needs.

Licensure & Certification Requirements (All Required): - Texas RN License or RN license with compact privilege
- Current Texas APRN License
- Nurse Practitioner Certification in related patient population
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Certification: NP Board Certification
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Experience:
- Less than 1 Year of Experience
