Professional Experience
I have around 8 years of experience in Design Development Implementation and production support of AS400 application systems.
Expertise in RPG RPGLE and ILE RPG programming for designing robust and maintainable business logic modules.
Experienced in Application Development under AS/400 using RPG III RPG IV RPG/400 COBOL/400 RPGILE CL/400 CLILE SQLRPGLE Subfiles SYNON and DB2/400 and Requirement gathering business analysis implementation of business centric software applications.
Experienced in writing and managing CL CLP and Control Language scripts to automate job processing and system tasks.
Experienced working with RxClaim systems for claims processing configuration and enhancements in the pharmacy benefit management domain.
Expertise in handling relational data using DB2/400 with native DB2 capabilities for high-performance data operations.
Experienced in writing SQL queries embedded SQL in RPGLE and optimizing queries for AS400-based applications.
Expertise in version control and document retrieval using Aldon and IBM OnDemand tools within AS400 environments.
Strong hands-on expertise in Synon/2E and RPG IV (ILE RPG) for developing and maintaining high-performance scalable applications.
Experienced in applying Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in modular RPG ILE designs and service programs.
Experience in end-to-end development and support solutions on the IBM i/AS400 platform leveraging RentalMan data templates and IBM Rational Developer for i (RDi) for efficient coding debugging and optimized application performance.
Expertise in the insurance domain with strong focus on annuity policy systems and transaction life cycles.
Experienced in using CONTROL-M (Control M) for job scheduling monitoring and automated batch control.
