Job Description
Responsibilties
Responsible for working in core AS400 annuity systems involving batch cycles client processing and regulatory compliance.
Involved in backend development on iSeries platform using RPGLE and SQLRPGLE for financial workflows.
Worked with the wide data bases and core software applications ranging from the sales call through shipping and receiving and reconciling the cash postings using Synon 2e and RPG on the IBM AS400 iSeries.
Worked on RxClaim modules to manage pharmacy benefit configurations for employee healthcare plans within Pixelles AS/400 environment.
Worked with business teams and Wynn Systems to capture data in RentalMan table templates validating key data fields before database load.
Involved in resolving production issues related to claim rejects benefit discrepancies and payment mismatches in RxClaim.
Involved in loading data into RentalMan database tables and performing validation testing using RentalMan application screens to ensure data integrity.
Utilized IBM Rational Developer for i (RDi) for code editing debugging and performance analysis in the AS400 environment.
Involved in nightly batch job stream development using CL and Control Language for transaction cycles.
Worked on the development of SYNON/2E and RPG IV applications to support manufacturing and order management processes.
Wrote several critical programs using RPG RPGILE CL CLLE Designed screens of many types in AS400 - Record Subfile msgsfl window etc.
Worked with Aldon for code promotion and lifecycle management in Dev and QA environments.
Involved in spool file generation and document handling using IBM OnDemand Tool.
Write utility program for MST TEB team. The program will run on AS400DEV daily to send a message to users (testers and developers) if they have files that have not been used for more than 30 days or if their memory (DASD) utilization climbs up overnight.
Worked in Agile sprints backlog grooming and JIRA task assignments with distributed teams.
Involved in designing service programs with OOP structures using RPGLE for modularity and reusability.
Worked on integrating annuity logic with third-party APIs through AS400 job triggers.
Involved in resolving Control-M scheduling errors and providing hotfixes during batch failures.
