Role: SECURITY ANALYST
Location: onsite role in Tallahassee FL
System Title: FDLE Information Security Governance
The selected candidate will work on-site at the Department of Law Enforcement in Tallahassee.
Background: FDLE Information Security is responsible for interpreting state mandates such as rules or statutes in addition to the FBI CJIS Security policy and drafting appropriate policies procedures or implementations to comply with those rules as it relates to the FDLE ecosystem. The FDLE information security team researches troubleshoots provides support and configures security controls daily.
Duties and Deliverables: FDLE requires the services of one Security Analyst to work under the direction of FDLEs Network Supervisor to assist in developing Continuity of Operation (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans for all identified agency systems. The Security Analyst is expected to work with our staff to perform research policy creation conduct tabletop exercises and support staff in transferring knowledge in these areas.
Security Analyst responsibilities include:

Minimum of 5 years of IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge in architecture design software development database management systems and systems integration in multi-platform environments.
Experience gathering program policy and process information to create and enhance Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP)
Experience collaborating with Information Security Manager(s) and Security Management staff
Experience with drafting policy for disaster recovery.
Experience in creation and enhancement of Risk Management programs plans and processes with Information Security management and staff.
Experience conducting interviews facilitating information gathering meetings and documenting outcomes.
Experience leading tabletop exercises relating to COOP Risk Management and DR in collaboration with the Information Security Manager.
Experience establishing security policy and best practices.
