Job Summary
Job Summary (Emergency Room Nurse)
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in LA County Orange County and the Inland Empire
- Assess triage and prioritize incoming patients based on severity of illness or injury
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions using the electronic health record (EHR)
- Perform diagnostic tests and assist with bedside procedures for critically ill patients
- Administer life-sustaining medications IV fluids and blood products as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compassionate and respectful treatment of all patients
- Maintain required certifications (BLS ACLS PALS); employer covers renewal after 3 months
- Work 3 scheduled 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm) per week; bi-weekly pay periods
- Eligible for health dental vision 401(k) matching and paid leave benefits
- Minimum qualifications: Unencumbered RN license ADN required (BSN/MSN preferred) minimum 2 years ER or ICU experience
