Guerlain is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Public Relations & Influence to lead our PR and influencer marketing strategy. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand narrative enhancing our reputation and driving engagement across various channels. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker an exceptional communicator and a proven leader with a strong track record of building and executing successful PR and influencer programs.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive PR and influencer marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts securing positive coverage across relevant publications and platforms.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify vet and manage relationships with key influencers to amplify brand messaging and reach target audiences.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of compelling press releases media kits blog posts and other content to support PR and influencer initiatives.
- Event Management: Plan and execute press conferences media events and influencer activations to generate buzz and drive engagement.
- Crisis Communications: Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect the companys reputation in times of need.
- Measurement & Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of PR and influencer campaigns providing regular reports and insights to optimize future efforts.
- Budget Management: Manage the PR and influencer marketing budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of PR and influencer marketing professionals fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in PR and influencer marketing.
Qualifications :
- 8 years of experience in public relations and/or influencer marketing with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR and influencer campaigns.
- Strong media relations skills and established relationships with key media contacts in the US.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media marketing and analytics.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Experience managing budgets and tracking ROI.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Experience in Beauty / Luxury environments (preferred)
