General Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will manage inventory and logistics for a divisional warehouse or large job site. The Logistics Coordinator will be involved in scheduling all inbound/outbound shipments. Will coordinate with all site leaders for material needs. Will assist with inventory tracking of materials. Will coordinate organizational efforts for job site materials in connex and laydown yard. Will make deliveries from the warehouse to the job site or site to site as needed. The Logistics Coordinator will report to site superintendent.

Preferred Job Skills:

  • Able to maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • OSHA 10 Hour CPR and First Aid trained.
  • Able to maintain high levels of productivity meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to supervise site team.
  • Demonstrate understanding of electrical construction material & tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in ProCore MS Office Tools and inventory management software.
  • General knowledge of electrical construction maintenance productivity and safety.

Mandatory Hiring Requirements:

References Background Check Drug Screen Testing Valid Drivers License.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory control by collecting stock location orders printing request recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves pallet area and workstations neat sweeps dusts and mops.
  • Oversee organization of connex and work area for orderliness at all times.
  • Wear the proper safety equipment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • License:Valid state drivers license as required by job conditions or by the company.
  • Certification: OSHA 10 CPR & First Aid.
  • Education:High School Graduate/GED preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of electrical experience preferred.3 years Logistics or inventory/tracking experience preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Job requires working in all-weather elements heat cold rain or snow.
  • Warehouse environment may or may not be climate controlled.
  • Work from all types of ladders and be able to transport/relocate ladders unassisted.
  • Employees personal weight with tools cannot exceed the rated weight capacity of ladders used.
  • Perform work at various heights up to 90 feet from ladders scaffolds aerial work platforms cat walks and other safe work areas.
  • May drive forklifts and utilize hand-trucks.
  • Must wear all personal protective equipment as required
  • Must be able to regularly work 40 hours per week plus overtime as required. Night shifts weekends and out-of-town work may be required.
