Course Overview

Jump start your career with a Chick-fil-A Flemingtons 2-year Manager in Training will build on your education through a formal mentorship in our LEAD program providing you professional development entrepreneurial insights and practical working experience within a legacy brand. You will be challenged to manage people systems and processes in a fast-paced multi-million dollar business. At the conclusion of your MIT experience you will be equipped to pursue a career with Chick-fil-A or leverage your experience to launch a career outside of Chick-fil-A.

Practical Leadership Progression:

  • Year 1: Hospitality and Kitchen Operational Leadership. Establish foundation in understanding and leading the Chick-fil-A business model.
  • Year 2: Assume rotational responsibility for segments critical to the success of the Chick-fil-A restaurant business.

Critical Success Areas Segments:

  • Financial Stewardship:Impact the bottom line through ownership of Lean process improvements cleanliness systems repairs and maintenance process flow and inventory management.
  • Sales and Brand Growth:Lead the application of the Chick-fil-A marketing strategy to drive sales and grow the brand through customer relationship management in-restaurant and in-community activations partner relations and advertising.
  • Talent:Take responsibility to own and execute results in recruitment processes onboarding and training processes team member experience strategy and performance management systems.
  • Customer Experience:Identify and lead initiatives to improve our guest experience in the areas ofhospitality taste cleanliness and speed/accuracy.

Job Expectations

Pay and Benefits: $45-50k a year
