Kheyti is an agri-tech startup that helps smallholder farmers battle climate change. We design and deliver low-cost tech-enabled solutions to boost incomes and build resilience for farmers across India. We exist to increase incomes for farmers affected by climate. Our goal is to make climate-smart agriculture accessible at scale.


The Opportunity

We are looking for a field-focused and driven Sales Executive to lead sales of greenhouse structures and allied agri-products. You will work closely with dealers FPOs agri-retailers and farmers to expand reach drive revenue and gather market insights while ensuring timely collections and maintaining strong relationships. This is a chance to make a real impact in rural markets and the agriculture sector.


Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Chevella Telangana

Reporting to : Project Manager


Key Responsibilities


  • Sales & Business Growth- Drive sales of greenhouse solutions and allied agri-products by building a strong network of agri-retailers and dealers sustaining a robust pipeline and meeting targets.

  • Dealer FPO & Agri Retailer Engagement- Engage and onboard dealers FPOs and agri-retailers through tailored demos training and pricing strategies to expand product reach and drive sales.

  • Customer Insights- Capture field insights on customer needs competitors and pricing to guide internal teams in refining products strategies and rural customer expectations focused plans.

  • Collections & Outstanding Payments- Ensure timely collections track outstanding dues and resolve payment issues to maintain strong credit discipline.


Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a self-motivated target-driven and field-oriented professional with a passion for the agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of rural markets farming practices and the dealer FPO retailer ecosystem coupled with the ability to build lasting trust with local stakeholders. They should possess proven sales acumen negotiation skills and the empathy needed to connect with farmers while effectively communicating the value of high-quality agricultural products and solutions. If you re excited about building relationships driving growth and winning in rural India this role is for you.


Must-Haves

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Business Marketing Agriculture or related fields.

  • 2 years of relevant experience in sales business development and dealer management in the agriculture sector.

  • Prior experience in selling high-value agricultural products/tools.

  • Strong local network in Chevella Telangana with connections to agri-retailers and FPOs.

  • Fluency in Telugu and English.


Nice-to-Haves.

  • Familiarity with FPOs and agri networks in the above-mentioned region is an advantage.

  • Strong ability to identify sales opportunities negotiate effectively and build relationships in rural markets.

  • Comfortable working independently in target-driven field-based roles.

  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools for tracking and reporting.
