As a financial technology service/company moving billions of GBP of customer money in over 70 countries Wise must have bulletproof financials. We need timely accurate and scalable financial data to be compliant with regulations and make accurate business decisions to support our growth and financial objectives.
Were hiring for a FP&A Analyst to help us better understand business performance manage and scale costs effectively and drive efficiencies in our BAU processes.
Your mission:
Owning and driving improvement in core operational processes - monthly reporting and forecasting.
Producing analysis and insights for a range of stakeholders.
Driving variance analysis against forecasts to ensure accuracy and identify cost drivers
Reviewing operational metrics to assess team contribution to costs and uncover underlying drivers
Supporting headcount planning by reviewing hiring assumptions
Supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner on strategic projects across the Servicing team.
Work with the other analysts in the team to support cross-team initiatives
Business partnering with team leads and vendor management.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
Understand the performance of our Servicing department dive into cost drivers and help improve growth and margins through better insights
Use data to shape Wises financial strategy manage growth sustainably and optimise investment and cost management
Partner with department leads to help them understand their performance cost base and support better decision-making
Own your path to success with high levels of autonomy and responsibility
Learn and grow in a fast-paced environment with plenty to do and improve
Produce insightful reporting track actuals and highlight risks or opportunities vs forecasts
Help coordinate monthly and annual forecasts that directly impact the prices we charge customers
Identify opportunities to streamline automate and scale reporting and operational processes
Qualifications :
Detail oriented great at working autonomously and meeting deadlines
Have a strong analytical thought process
Have an ability to go beyond the numbers and understand the bigger picture
You have excellent communication skills and are able to influence others
You know how to collaborate effectively within a team and how to manage stakeholder expectations
You have a professional finance qualification such as the ACA / ACCA / CIMA or part-qualified and on-track to qualifying.
Skills:

Clear thinker: able to organise their thoughts well and communicate their analysis in a simple and structured way whether in writing or in discussions.
Keen to roll up sleeves and get the job done.

Able to operate to defined timelines while bringing together a diverse stakeholder group.
Able to work across multiple teams offices time-zones (and travel when needed!) with flexibility and a can do attitude
