Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Design develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Integrate and automate data from multiple SQL Server databases into a unified reporting framework.
- Optimize data models for performance and usability (e.g. DAX SQL queries SSAS).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency through ETL processes (SSIS Power Query).
- Implement row-level security and other governance best practices in Power BI.
- Troubleshoot and improve existing reports/dashboards.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Microsoft BI Stack (Power BI SSRS SSAS SSIS).
- Strong SQL skills (queries stored procedures data modeling).
- Familiarity with Python or JavaScript for data manipulation (preferred).
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Ability to translate complex data into user-friendly visualizations.
- Understanding of relational and multidimensional database design.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS).
- Certifications in Power BI or Microsoft Data Analytics.
