We are looking for an exceptional handy-person to maintain our communitys buildings and facilities and contribute to the quality of our residents lives through responsive and supportive is a 20-hours per week fixed term contract.
This role is packed full of variety where no two days will be the same. The successful applicant will have a maintenance/trade background and be responsible for:
- carrying out scheduled routine checks
- resolving planned and unplanned maintenance issues
- supervising and assisting contractors
- collaborating with others within the community to ensure the premise is maintained to a high standard at all times

Our ideal candidate will have:
- Good DIY skills and experience with facility maintenance
- Understanding of local and central government compliance schedules (BWOF)
- High energy physical fitness and enthusiasm
- Ability to manage technical systems and use computer software effectively
- Honesty integrity and great communication skils
We are looking for a team member who enjoy:
- Interacting with senior New Zealanders
- Performing to a high standard with diligence and care
